It is too bad that the Large Magellanic Cloud is not visible from the Northern Hemisphere, as it would be fantastic to take SkyClops (TM) out to observe it. The LMC is a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, and it is only observable from Southern hemisphere latitudes, just like the Southern Cross.
