Supermoon Eclipse 2015

There will be a total eclipse of the Moon, visible from San Diego in the eastern sky. The Moon will lie 14° above the horizon at the midpoint of the eclipse.

The Moon will be totally eclipsed from 19:12 until 20:23, and there will be a partial eclipse visible from 18:08 until 21:27 (all times given in San Diego time).

San Diego Astronomer to host Supermoon Viewing Event

San Diego Astronomer, Science Entertainer and STEM Education expert Sandy Eulitt will host a free public star party type viewing event for Supermoon Eclipse 2015. Further details to be announced soon.
