Looking West Southwest at sunset local time tonight, you should see Mars and Saturn right near each other and just above the horizon. A pair of binoculars might enable you to see some features, or one of Saturn’s rings.

New Moon also begins at 7:10 pm local time, so the skies will be at their darkest tonight. Mars and Saturn should be spectacular.
