Ah. I guess there is nothing like being curled up on the sofa in your jammies during a pandemic to watch the incredible, “Seven Minutes of Terror,” involving the Mars Perserverance Landing.

You may know that many Mars spacecraft have failed to reach the planet. About 20 years ago, one even failed due to the engineers failing to convert the units from metric to Imperial units, thus crashing the spacecraft during its landing attempt. I think that was the Mars Polar Orbiter.

Curiosity’s landing in 2012 went perfectly, so I am very hopeful for today’s Perserverance landing. It would have been nice to do a watch party for this.

Stay tuned and enjoy the day!!!
