This mission is to launch on my birthday, and is a critical next step in getting back to the Moon and on to Mars, or an asteroid. The next big item will be testing of the Space Launch System, SLS, a rocket eventually expected to have the lift capability of the venerable Saturn V. It has been under development for nearly five years, and is expected to begin testing very soon. Full operations were to begin in 2017.
