Courtesy of the American Astronomical Society, this picture shows NGC 1140 in Eridanus undergoing a starbust. It is 60 million light years away, making it pretty close in astronomical terms. This image is from the Hubble Space Telescope and was released in July, 2015.

At magnitude 12.5, this object should be easily accessible by SkyClops, my Big Dob.
