The spring constellations of Virgo, Leo, Corvus, Beehive Cluster, Cancer, and Arcturus revealed themselves to me the night of April 13 on Mt. Laguna. It was a truly amazing experience, as I had not had the chance to view the wonders of the universe in quite some time. The trip was badly needed and, even though it was just past crescent moon, the skies were still dark. I stayed out until about 10:15 pm, as it got cold. Mt. Laguna is at about 6500 foot elevation, and got down to around 40 degrees Fahrenheit that night. I didn’t have my super warmy cold weather gear with me, so I was getting chilled. It was, nonetheless, a very worthwhile experience, and I can hardly wait to go out again next, probably the night of May 11. Maybe someone will join me?

Tonight's gonna be a good night, yeah, tonight's gonna be a good, good night!!!!

All this fit into a very small car. I left the 28", 12", and Galileoscope at home.
