Women’s Space Apparel

You’ve probably figured out by now that I like astronomy. A lot. So much so that I even have astronomy and space themed clothing, some of which I make. I not only have a telescope problem, I have a sewing machine problem. I really like to sew, a lot. It gives me something to do when skies are grey, clouded out, and I can’t go stargazing.

So, I am sitting here in my sewing room tonight, working on my solar system sundress, see post here http://www.catscraftsandlaughs.com/2016/08/03/solar-system-sundress/ and the phone rings. Instead of repeating the whole story here, I will add that I got to spend the evening on my former home of Shelter Island, soaking in the beloved ocean smells and reveling in the breezes and smells of fishermen, giving a telescope night sky tour and astronomy lecture to a very nice lady and Marine Corps veteran. It was so awesome to be out amongst the stars again after the crazy year of medical problems I have had. I really miss Shelter Island, but I miss my stars even more. This was one of the best evenings I have had in a long, long time.
