My very dear friend, mentor, colleague and former professor Katherine Meyer-Canales, Co-Chair of the Saddleback College Astronomy and Physics Department and Advisor to Saddleback’s Astronomy and Physics Club, has recommended this home planetarium software available for FREE. I have not reviewed this yet, so I’m taking her (very reliable) word for this. It is . Please check this out, and let me know what you think in the comments section below.

This is the Stellarium software, available for FREE download from www.stellarium.org. I’ve used it several times, and find it to be incredibly helpful. In some respects, I prefer it over the student version of amateur astronomy software that I’ve purchased.

Give it a try. I think you’ll like what you see 🙂
